Grails Ext Userinterface

I'm currently working on a plugin for the Grails Web Framework. It's called "Grails-ext-ui" and can be used as an instant administration interface for the domain model. Based on the great Ext Javascript Library and my previous work, the Grails Converters Plugin it provides basic CRUD functionality like the classic Grails Scaffolding, but in a dymamic way without the need to generate anything. It is not really extensible, but it has some options to configure it and it leverages some constraint options of domain class properties (widget etc.).

I have set up a live demo:

Have fun!

Fantastic work, mate! This looks absolutely awesome and will be a great timesaver. Most of my apps won't need any other admin interface except something like this. Fantastic work!

This is great - love the look, and it'll be very useful. Can wait for it to be available.

Very nice job.

But I think you should do a simplier version too. The Javascipt fx are very cool, but they're a little heavy too.

Zowie! Very nice!

Please be sure to document the hooks for the edit form, so that users can drop in some other Javascript-powered form, such as a rich text editor.

Looks very nice. Are you any closer to making any form of release?

there is a plugin grails-ext-ui in the grails SVN but there is no documentation at grails.org and the plugin seems to be created for grails 0.5

is that the latest available version of your plugin?
would love to try it out but wanted to be sure to have an up to date (and working) version of the code. installing the current one via 'grails install-plugin ext-ui' doesn't work for me with grails 1.1-RC1.

any help is greatly appreciated.

cheers,
philip
